Dr Jane Wu Stands Up as CNVLD Official Doctor
The CNVLD is pleased to welcome Dr Jane Wu, a consultant physician in rehabilitation medicine, who has volunteered as the new CNVLD Official Doctor.
A consultant physician in rehabilitation medicine in 3 hospitals providing inpatient, outpatient & home-based rehabilitation programmes for people with disabilities, Dr Wu has taken a leave of absence from Hornsby Hospital, Greenwich Hospital and Westmead Rehabilitation Hospital to volunteer in Cambodia for 1 year writing & editing for a Khmer medical journal and providing teaching for staff at physical rehabilitation centres.
Dr Wu’s main research interests include outcomes in rehabilitation, hip fracture rehabilitation, falls prevention and education and she also provides educational programmes to trainees of the Australian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine, medical students and allied health.

As well as providing direct assistance to the athletes with a disability of Cambodia, Dr Wu also plans a Khmer medical guide for wheelchair athletes, the first of its kind in Cambodia.
