Newly Released: The CNVLD Manifesto 2012-2015
Acknowledging the enormous success of the 2011 WOVD Cambodia Volleyball World Cup and the outstanding efforts of the Cambodian National Volleyball team in reaching the No 2 position, CNVLD Secretary-General, Christopher Minko, is very pleased to announce the CNVLD Manifesto: 2012-2015.

The Core Objectives
Localisation by 2015
To achieve localization of the CNVLD into mainstream Cambodian frameworks within disability sports structures
Including appointment of Cambodian National Secretary-General
No 1 in the World
Now ranked No 2 in the World, the Cambodian National Volleyball team will continue until it reaches the No 1 position
Establish Cambodia as the ASEAN Center for Disability Sports
Cambodia is the logical home for an ASEAN Center for Disability Sports Development with its, now internationally recognized programs, for disability sports development along with having the highest ratio of disabled persons in the world per head of population due to the landmine and past civil conflict.
To facilitate programs of Sports and Cultural Exchange between Cambodia and Thailand
To promote goodwill and foster positive relations between the nations of Cambodia and Thailand
i.e.: Water Festival / Wheelchair races / Volleyball competitions and other
From 2012 onwards, the CNVLD will work in cooperation with:
Cambodian Red Cross
The Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation
The National Paralympic Committee of Cambodia
The World Organization of Volleyball for the Disabled

2013
Ø Annual Cambodian National Championships Phnom Penh – CNVLD League teams
Ø Cambodia to bid to host WOVD World Championships

Ø Phnom Penh ASEAN Volleyball competition with Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and Thailand – to become annual ASEAN event
Identify Trainee Secretary- General
Present 1st paper to ASEAN forum for recognition of Cambodia as ASEAN Center for Disability Sports
2014
Ø Annual Cambodian National Championships Phnom Penh – CNVLD League teams
Ø Participate in WOVD World Cup – host nation to be nominated
Ø Objective: win No 1
Ø Vietnamese + Thai National teams to Cambodia for series of friendly games
Ø ASEAN Volleyball competition – potential host nation – Laos
· Present 2nd paper to ASEAN forum for recognition of Cambodia as ASEAN Center for Disability Sports
2015
Ø Handover to Cambodian Secretary-General
· Secure ASEAN nomination of Cambodia as the official ASEAN Center for disability sports at heads of states level
CNVLD Staff changes / restructuring 2012 onwards:
Ø Molly Lao / Piseth Chen – Producers of CNVLD events – 2012 onwards
Ø Khuon Socheata: Local Sports Program Manager + one local staff to be appointed as assistant
Ø Willie G. Guillory – to work full time as CNVLD Disability Sports Coach including assistance to CNVLD and other National Sports Federations as required / organized
