Polish National Volleyball Team
The Polish National Standing Volleyball Team enters the the Cambodia Cellcard WOVD 2009 Volleyball World Cup currently ranked No.4 in the World.
The Polish National Standing Volleyball Team participated in the historic 2007 WOVD Cambodia Standing Volleyball World Cup where they put on strong performances against all teams and successfully defeated former World Champions Canada.
Cambodia defeated Poland in one of the tighest matches of the whole tournament to go through to the Semi-Finals where they narrowly lost out to Slovakia. Cambodia then re-played Poland in the 3rd Place Play-Off, taking a narrow victory to claim the World No.3 position.
Poland return to Cambodia in 2009 with a combination of familiar faces and fresh young talent and are aiming to put on strong performances once more against the world's best teams.
The Polish National Standing Volleyball Team are well-known as one of the friendliest and most popular teams on the international circuit and Cambodia and the CNVLD look forward to welcoming their Polish friends back to Phnom Penh for the Cambodia Cellcard 2009 WOVD Volleyball World Cup.
