ABV George Friml has manufactured the stunning  Cambodia Cellcard 2009 WOVD Volleyball World Cup trophies with the Armed Art project at the Don Bosco Technical School.

The Armed Art 2009 World Cup trophies were painstakingly manufactured by George Friml and the students of Don Bosco entirely from the barrel shrouds of Soviet WW2 era PPSh-41 sub-machine guns destroyed by the Cambodian government earlier in the decade.

Following the completion of his first Armed Art tenure in 2009, George Friml returned to Australia to complete production of the Winners Medals for the Cambodia 2009 Cellcard WOVD Volleyball World Cup. On his return to Cambodia in December, George will continue to work on the Armed Art sculptures which will form an integral part of the international tour of the CNVLD Exhibition from Cambodia: To Be Deter-Mined.

The CNVLD looks forward to presenting the Armed Art 2009 Cambodia WOVD World Cup trophy to the victorious team after the World Cup Final in December 2009.
